E-Learning Heroes Challenges

Hosted by Articulate 360, the E-Learning Heroes Challenge asks instructional designers to put their skills to the test and create engaging content while at the same time testing their capabilities and creativity. 

In this section, you will find my submissions for these challenges as I work to learn new ways to make Articulate Storyline trainings creative, efficient, and fun. 

ELH Challenge #408

The Challenge: To creaete an interactive timeline that can be used in e-learning.

Overview: For this challenge, I took one of my favorite things in life (Star Wars) and create a timeline of how Anakin Skywalker grows from just a boy into the tragic character we know as Darth Vader.

ELH Challenge #406

The Challenge: To create a circle menu example to show how they can be used in e-learning courses (may be static or animated). 

Overview: For this challenge, I wanted to make something music-based and I landed on taking a peek at what someone might put on their Spotify playlist. The e-learning clip included an interactive CD (circle) menu that allows visitors to preview Mia's song choices via  inserted YouTube videos.

The Challenge: To create an example that shows how interactive audo can be used in e-learning.

Overview: For this challenge, I took audio clips from the theme songs of some of my favorite TV shows and made a trivia-style game.

ELH Challenge #403

The Challenge: To create and share an example that shows how accordion interactions can be used to group and organize content in e-learning. 

Overview: For this challenge, I took a demo video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmx_6OmwPxo&feature=youtu.be) on how to use the 3M Scotch-Brite Griddle Cleaning Kit and created an 8-step accordion training with audio instructions, text instructions, and video instructions.
